How can one old man hand-deliver presents to 2 billion children in one evening? How can the white-bearded one be here when we just saw him round the corner in his grotto in the shopping centre? Why is 'Santa' an anagram of 'Satan'?
In this module we explore the extraordinary imagination of CS Lewis. Below and in the links to the right you will find more about his story, his writing – both the famous Narnia books but also his science fiction writing and non fiction theology. And we review the recent Hollywood adaptation.
Welcome to the Bluffers Guide to Christian Theology: Who is Jesus and what did he do? It's almost a guarantee that by the end of these podcasts you'll know more impressive multi-syllable words to use in scrabble games than from any other module on rejesus. Not to mention a rather sound grasp of some of the more academic aspects of biblical interpretation.

A recent competition launched for the best version of the Lord's Prayer in text message form (er... txt msg 4m) drew a big response from mobile users. And the prayers and other sayings of Jesus which arrived were intriguing.
People not only tried to make the Lord's Prayer as short as possible, so that it would fit into the space of a single txt msg. They also got to the heart of what the prayer is all about and then put it into their own words.
Some of the txt msgs are entertaining and funny, but most of them read like real prayers and sayings of Jesus, and, of course, they're all ready to be texted to someone.
Which came first for Jude – the passion to communicate and entertain or the undeniable gift with words? She describes the two coming together and finding line by line, gig by gig that she's compelled to do what she's doing. The Guardian describes her as "hilarious" and the Scotsman said "She's got words on a string like so many yoyos, and her lines sparkle with wit and panache." She is no less brilliant in her creations for rejesus but why not find out for yourself.
