Introduction


From Good Friday to Easter Sunday... follow the three days of Easter by looking at three pictures from the Eastern Church. These pages also include a simple walk-through prayer exercise for each of the three days, which you can do at your computer.

On Good Friday, after the execution squad had done its worst, the friends of Jesus took his broken body down from the cross.

Easter Saturday is almost like the forgotten day of Easter. It was the day when Jesus lay dead and buried in his borrowed tomb.

And on the third day… the completely unexpected happened. Jesus appeared alive again to his shocked followers.
