This section of the rejesus website pulls together our collection of creative work inspired by Jesus. Have a look at both conventional and unconventional images of Jesus, poems by two poets and three artists we commissioned directly to produce photos, poems and a painting especially for the site.
We have film reviews and reflections on 8 of the most famous films that tell the story of Jesus but if you look through our blog you can also find our reflections on the most recent cinema releases and what parallels there are to Jesus’ story.
Jesus has probably inspired more books and biographies than anyone else in human history. But which of them are worth reading if you’re exploring the life of Jesus for the first time – or even for the second or third times?
We asked Jim Janknegt from Austin, Texas to paint an interpretation of Jesus’ parable, The Rich Fool. You can see his finished icon here. You can also delve into the creative process along with Jim and follow his progress with a video diary. There are also close-ups and details from the work.
