1. Is there a set of rules for these boards? Yes. Click here to read our house rules. Please remember that you agree to abide by them when you registered. Top 2. When does a New Member become a Member? The system regards you as a New Member until you have made 21 posts. At that point, you are automatically promoted to become a Member. We have this feature because it usually takes a little while for people to get acclimatised to a bulletin board community. It also reminds those who have been here for longer to welcome you to the boards. Top 3. Who are the moderators? The moderators control individual forums. They can edit, delete or prune any posts in their forums. If you have a question about a particular forum, you should direct it to the forum moderator. Top 4. Which board should I choose to post a new thread on? The rejesus bulletin boards mirror the structure of the whole site and the discussion areas are arranged in themes. Here's a quick breakdown... The story this board is to do with the past: the life of Jesus, discussing passages from the Bible, debating about famous Christians from the past, why the church has got it so wrong (and sometimes so right!). Encounters this board is about the present and future: how faith can be lived out today, what are the big issues facing our world at the moment, plus stories and experiences from your own life. Spirituality is about just that: prayer and meditation, retreats and events, places to go where you sense the presence of God powerfully. Check out the rejesus spirituality section, which has resources that will feed discussion on the board. Expression this board is for discussing the ways people have expressed their faith through writing, movies, music, plays, paintings and all the other forms of artistic expression. Community is where you can make friends, talk about trivia, ask for prayer and generally make yourself at home. News and comment this is the rejesus housekeeping board, where site announcements are posted and where you can report any faults in the service and ask questions about the running of rejesus. Top |
