Marmite Jesus

It may not be obvious to everyone but Mrs Allen, of Ystrad, Rhondda, Wales claims that she and her family can see the face of Jesus in the lid of their marmite jar. "The kids are still eating it, but we kept the lid." said Mr Allen.

love it or hate it - is this Jesus in the lid?

Mrs Allen told the South Wales Echo the other day:
“Straight away Jamie said ‘that looks like God’, and my other boys (Robbie, four, and Tomas, 11) even said they could see a face. People might think I’m nuts, but I like to think it’s Jesus looking out for us. We’ve had a tough couple of months; my mum’s been really ill and it’s comforting to think that if he is there, he’s watching over us.”

We have seen many faces of Jesus in extra-ordinary places here on re:jesus if you’d like to see some more the see for yourself on the Unexpected Faces module or for more conventional representations then take a look at Faces of Jesus

Marmite is really bad for you!Don’t eat it on its own - mix it with peanut butter and spread it all on toast - a really Trinitarian, unhealthy way to live!!!!
Talk about “fresh expressions”! I prefer the stale ones!!
