Re:jesus has commented on a few unexpected faces of Jesus that have been found in remarkable places such as Cheesus and Marmite Jesus, but this is definitely a first. In this case the image has been purposely constructed as an object of reverence - this is a piece of art! It is also remarkable that such an ordinary everyday thing like toast should be used to create this image of Jesus’ death. I wonder how it makes you feel to see Jesus image appear in such an everyday foodstuff? Do you think it is art?

Like it or hate it you have to respect it. How does someone do that with toast?? I’m flat out getting the butter all the way to the edges let alone making a mural out of it!!
Seriously though - if it gets people talking about Jesus, if it get’s people thinking about the meaning of the cross, if it draws people nearer to the bread of life - bring it on!! I actually love that symbolism - it seems most appropriate that it be made from toast - he said he is the bread of life, he handed the bread around and said “This is my body broken for you” .... yeah toast fits brilliantly. Genius Adam - sheer genius!!!
