Jesus Christ: Robbie, that was an interesting performance…
Robbie Williams: err, thanks.
JC: There are going to be those who are critical of your return to the pop charts.
RW: God save me rejection, from my reflection, I want perfection…
JC: I can’t offer you perfection - you will have to make do with the gifts you have been given and not get too hung-up when things don’t go exactly to your vision of perfection. Robbie, I can save you and I am saving you. But you have to believe that your not out there on your own…you have to believe that I am there loving you and saving you. I am confused though – you often sing about me, God and angels but you also seem distant and mocking.
RW: we’re praying it’s not too late…
JC: Robbie, it’s never too late - what is it that you want for your life?
RW: All I ever wanted is to look good naked.
JC: Do you mean that you want to get back to a the state human being’s were in when they lived in harmony with God - like in the story of the Garden of Eden?
RW: Tell me a story, where we all change, and we’d live our lives together, and not estranged.
JC: Yes, this is what it was like before sin came into the world. It is also the hope that I brought into the world when I lived with you a couple of thousand years ago…and the hope that I bring today through my holy spirit and in the lives of the good people who follow me. But, Robbie you know that story…so, what makes you feel close to God day to day?
RW: I know I’ll always be blessed with love.
JC: You’re so right Robbie, you will always be close to me…and I will always love you.
RW: I’m loving angels instead.
JC: Instead?
RW: I’ve been told that salvation lets their wings unfold…
JC: Indeed Robbie, I am that salvation and I do let the angels wings unfold to protect you.

Robbie looks at Jesus and (for the first time ever in his life) he is silent. Jesus smiles at Robbie and gives him a big hug.

JC: I will offer you protection, a lot of love and affection, whether you’re right or wrong; and down the waterfall, wherever it may take you, I know that life wont break you, when you come to call I wont forsake you…
RW: I know a song about that (Jesus and Robbie laugh a lot)
JC: So, what will you do next?
RW: there’s nothin’ left to do but kneel down and pray.
JC: I know I song about that too…(They both laugh again)

Jesus and Robbie swop more song lyrics about the Garden of Eden, angels, God’s best people, camper vans, regrets and love. Their conversation lasts long into the night.

The words of Robbie Williams are from his song lyrics – Angles, Jesus and a Camper Van, Bodies, No Regrets, Millennium, Heaven From Here, One of God’s Better People.
